Hotel-only bookings are complimentary.
Hotels already budget for travel advisor commissions whenever a room is booked. Book through Expedia or Booking.com, and they receive it. Book through me, and I receive it instead—at no additional cost to you.
I can often also secure preferred rates or valuable extras, such as complimentary breakfast, hotel credits, room upgrades and flexible check-in or check-out.
If I can’t improve your booking, I’ll simply tell you.

Hotels value long-term relationships with trusted travel advisors because we recommend their properties again and again—not just once. That often means advisor bookings receive a little more attention, from upgrade requests and special occasions to the overall guest experience.
While nothing can ever be guaranteed, having someone advocating for you before you arrive can often make a meaningful difference.
Do I still earn hotel loyalty points?+
Usually, yes.
When booked through preferred hotel programs, you typically receive your usual loyalty points and elite status benefits, while also enjoying any additional perks available through my partnerships.

Absolutely.
That’s actually how many of my clients first reach out. I’ll compare your booking with the rates, benefits, and booking options available to me and let you know if there’s a better way to book it.
I’ve already booked my hotel. Can you still help?+
Yes—provided your existing reservation is still within its free-cancellation period.
Send me the hotel, dates, room and rate you booked, and I’ll see whether I can improve it. Please do not cancel your current reservation until your new booking through me is fully confirmed.
What happens if you can’t improve my booking?+
I’ll simply tell you.
There is no obligation to book through me. I’d rather give you honest advice than promise something I can’t deliver. My goal is to become the person you think of the next time you’re planning a trip.

I’m Thibault Cannon, a French-American luxury travel advisor based in Charleston, South Carolina.
